|Kevin Bourgeois | VP Brownfield Projects
Mr. Bourgeois is a 1978 graduate of Tulane University College of Engineering with a degree in Civil Engineering. After spending several years as an Officer in the United States Army, he joined Gulf Oil and began a career in the offshore industry. His career has been primarily spent managing offshore oil green and brown field projects including subsea projects and FPSO projects. Kevin currently is the Vice President of Brownfield Projects for Kosmos Energy based in Dallas.

With 27 years of involvement in Oil&Gas projects, Nicolas has been progressing through the different steps of project management in various environments.
Nicolas hold a Master degree in Engineering from the french Ecole Nationale d’Arts et Metiers, one of the prestigious french colleges.
After a first experience with an engineering company, he joined TOTAL, the French Oil&Gas operator, to progress his career in the project management.
From onshore development in Venezuela to deep water development in Nigeria, he has been facing the different challenges of projects in an international environment.
He was recently director of the Martin Linge Development, based in Stavanger, Norway.
Since summer 2018, he hold a senior advisor position for the North Platte development in Gulf of Mexico.

Marco Cota is the CEO of Talanza Energy , firm dedicated to the study and analysis of energy policies and regulatory compliance in Mexico, where he assists international energy companies in the design and implementation of tailor-suited strategies for their regulatory compliance adjusted to the applicable geopolitical context, considering current and upcoming regulations.
For the last 10 years, Mr. Cota has been an active key player in the energy policy making in Mexico. His last appointment as Director General of Exploration and Extraction of Hydrocarbons at the Secretariat of Energy, included the participation in the design and implementation of the Mexican Energy Reform, its secondary legislation, contracts, and regulations; the leading of the proposition for their offering in tenders; the design and development of the Five-Year Plan of Bidding Rounds; the assistance in establishing national content requirements for exploration and extraction activities; and, the participation in the technical and economic design of oil and gas contracts.Marco Cota-Valdivia holds a B.A. in Economics from the Mexican Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM) and a Masters’ degree in Public Policy from the University of Manchester.

Tim Duncan is the President and CEO and a founder of Talos Energy Inc., which was recently converted to a public company from a private one formed in March 2012 and initially funded with up to $600 million of private equity commitments from Apollo Global Management, LLC and Riverstone Holdings LLC. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Talos is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas properties with a focus on operations in the Gulf of Mexico, including the shallow waters of offshore Mexico. Talos is the third company built with private equity capital with his partners over the last seventeen years. Since inception in 2012, Talos has grown from 5 original employees to over 350 employees with over 150 MMBOE of Proved reserves and >50 MBOEPD of net production. In November of 2017, Talos announced its merger with Stone Energy, providing increased scale and allowing Talos to become a public company post-closing in early 2Q 2018. In 2013, Talos was named by the Houston Chronicle as the #1 Top Workplace in the Houston area for companies under 150 employees and has maintained a position on the list of Top Workplaces for the last six years. In June 2016, Mr. Duncan was named as the EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the Energy & Energy Services sector in the Gulf Coast area.Mr. Duncan earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University, where he was honored in 2012 as a Distinguished Fellow of the College of Engineering. Mr. Duncan also serves on various academically focused boards including the College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council and the Foundation Board at Mississippi State University.

José Firmo has over 29 years of experience in the Oilfield Services industry. Since 1992 when he joined Schlumberger he has worked in numerous jobs ranging from Testing & Wireline Field Engineer offshore Brasil, Field Manager positions in the North and South America, Segment Global Human Resources Director, Vice President of Operations Latin America and President of Schlumberger Brasil. He was President of ABESPETRO – the Brazilian Oil and Gas association of Service Companies from 2016 to 2017.
Mr. Firmo is now Western Hemisphere Senior Vice President of Seadrill Operations and currently, he also holds the position of President of IBP – Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, he holds a Master in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

Adrian has 33 years of upstream oil and gas engineering, project management, and operations experience gained in various domestic and international assignments with Shell, ABB and BP.Adrian is a member of the BP Upstream Global Projects Organization leadership team with accountability for major projects in the Americas, the North Sea and subsea systems globally.Previous roles include leading transformational change through the creation of the Global Projects Solutions organization, focused on project selection, standardized equipment and brownfield projects; VP HSSE & Engineering for the North Sea; Chief Engineer for Process and Process Safety; and Engineering Manager for BP’s program of Caspian Sea projects.Adrian graduated from University College London in Chemical Engineering (1984) and holds a MBA in Engineering Management (1993). He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
|Roberto Milani | Project Engineering Manager
Roberto has been involved in development of deep water projects for the last 10 years, from Feasibility to Execution phase. Direct experience in the Angola Block 15-06 East Hub execution, as responsible for all the engineering activities and of the technical integration among the different work packages of this successful deep water operated project. Insight of ENI’s FLNG development. Currently involved in the new ENI’s developments in Gulf of Mexico.
