Mark Adeosun, Director, Offshore Energy Services, Westwood Global Energy Group

Given significant investments recorded over the last three years, driven by oil prices averaging $84/bbl since 2021, Mark Adeosun will be providing an overview of liquids supply-demand balance until the end of the decade. Mark will also discuss Westwood Global Energy’s offshore EPC investment outlook, focusing on subsea tree demand over the next five years, floating production system capacity addition through to 2027, and the expected growth in the global production platform installed base.

As offshore exploration and production activity continue to increase worldwide, the existing fleet is going through reactivation and refurbishment intended to extend the useful life of these aging assets. As the Class Society for the majority of the global offshore fleet, ABS has considerable experience with supporting safety in the reactivation and life extension of offshore assets. ABS Vice President, Matt Tremblay will share insights on the key safety considerations as the industry looks to reactivate and extend the life of its fleet.

Mr. Chisholm will provide an overview of Hess’ joint venture (JV) operations in Guyana and Suriname with regard to carbon footprint and highlight initiatives and technologies employed to minimize emissions.
